the words seemed to describe Adele whom she was to be served by Eyre. it was clear that Eyre have noticed her loneliness and to promise to take care of her with full potential of hers. the words such as "parentless" and "forsaken" and "betray" seemed to be with Adele for rest of her life in which her parents abandoned her.

while the fire ablazes through Mr.R's door Eyre rescues his life. But the queer thing about Mr.R is that his arrogance was to be shown such as he did not want anyone to know about the specifics of fire but Why??
